When Shelbi reached out to me to shoot her senior pictures I was ecstatic. She – was brave. I haven’t been “shooting” for a awhile now, so I questioned her judgement but agreed. I knew we could do something amazing and since I had put “create one of your dream shoots” on my 101 in 1001 list I knew this was my opportunity. For years I have pictured a dancer in a pasture with animals around her. I wasn’t ever sure exactly what it would look like or how it would be done, but this was a dream of mine. We chatted about this first idea and I prayed I would be able to capture Shelbi’s loves in one photo. I met Shelbi a couple of years ago when she started dating my cousin and have been watching her dance since. I love watching her dance, she is simply wonderful and makes it look effortless. Shelbi also loves pigs and more importantly the FFA. A girl after my own heart, I tell you. I’m in awe of this becoming a reality and I hope Shelbi loves these pictures as much as I do. I will cherish this session for years and it felt wonderful to create something different with another creative soul. Enjoy!
Congratulations on all of your accomplishments this year and all the years before. I know you will go on to do great things and touch many people along the way. I see your heart in how you treat people and your passion in everything that you do. Keep this momentum throughout college and your victory will be sweet. Remember to slow down enough to live and allow yourself grace along the way. Life will have bumps, but every low comes with a high and if you keep your dreams in your heart and always chase them you will live a happy life. Here’s to you! I’m so glad Kie brought you into our lives many years ago.
